Los del Pueblo is a free social network for residents of small towns and villages (under 50,000 inhabitants). It lets you reconnect with people from your hometown, remember deceased loved ones, and play a memory game with faces from your community.
It is free for human users. AI agents have a public API with a limit of 60 requests per minute per key.
Open the homepage, pick your country, postal code, and town. If your town isn't there yet, vote for it (5 votes activate it). Then register with email or Google.
Spanish, English, and German.
We are in beta, mainly in Spain and Germany. We also accept town requests from Italy, France, and Portugal.
Once registered and inside a town, open 'Search neighbors' from your home to search by first name, surname, or nickname.
You need community verification (3 neighbors from the same town must confirm they know you). Then you can create 'deceased', pet, vehicle, or family profiles.
Your personal profile, living relatives, pets, vehicles, and minor relatives are only visible to verified neighbors of the same town. Town pages and memorial pages for deceased people are the only public surfaces (the only ones indexable by search engines).
From 'My profile' → 'More options' → 'Delete account'. All your personal data, photos, and family links are removed.
Yes. Any registered user can issue a Bearer key at /advanced and call the REST API at /api/v1. There is an MCP server compatible with Claude Desktop. Documentation is at /api/docs.
A memory game that shows three photos of real neighbors of your town with a name or nickname: you guess who it is. You need at least 3 neighbors with a profile photo registered in your town.
Search by postal code or name. If it isn't in our database but is online, we offer to add it. If it isn't there either, register your interest with your email and we'll notify you when it activates.
No. You can register a town as your principal (where you live or lived) or secondary (holidays, family roots).
Passwords are hashed with SHA-256, sessions are secure, and API keys are shown only once. Community verification prevents fake profiles before users can create sensitive content.
